Azadi Medics: Azadi Medics is a Black, Muslim, and South Asian-led group of community medics providing community with medical education and training. Azadi means freedom in several Middle Eastern and South Asian languages, and that’s what we’re seeking through our work. Medics have been trained in herbalism, gunshot wound care, basic care and support for pregnant people, sexual assault response, mental health first aid, basic first aid, protestor health and safety, and more. Chicago Action Medical: CAM, a Chicago street medic collective, has been supporting health in liberation and justice movements since 2002. [IG]


Chicago Childcare Collective: The Chicago Childcare Collective (ChiChiCo) is a group of volunteers who support the participation of parents, especially mothers, in racial and economic justice work. The collective matches volunteers with community organizations across the city to have fun with kids while their parents participate in and lead organizing efforts to defend their rights and build a better Chicago. Chicago Community Jail Support: Chicago Community Jail Support is a daily, on the ground, grassroots mutual aid project run completely by volunteers. Their mission is to assist anyone being released from Cook County Jail, their loved ones, and the surrounding community. They  focus on providing direct aid that meets the immediate needs of those being released with phone calls, warm clothing, snacks, drinks, PPE, safe transportation home, and emergency housing. Ujimaa Medics: Ujimaa Medics (UMedics) is a Black health collective. They spread emergency first response, community care, and survival skills to access health justice and long term wellness for all Black lives. [Website] [IG]
