Chicagoland DPOC Coalition: The Chicagoland Disabled People of Color Coalition was created in hopes of unifying more disabled, autistic, Deaf, and neurodivergent people of color and encouraging them to have pride in being disabled people of color and develop their advocacy skills. In 2018, the organization agreed to affiliate with the Illinois Self-Advocacy Alliance, a statewide network of self-advocacy groups working to make life better for disability communities throughout Illinois and make services better in Illinois.
